Reworkers ("Reworkers", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why we use it and the choices available to you when you use reworkers.ai or our interview coaching service.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
The controller for the processing described in this notice is Alexander Yanchin, Peter-Roos-Strasse 11, 40547 Düsseldorf, Germany. Contact: hello@reworkers.ai.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, account details, role and interview goals, job descriptions, practice answers, feedback and support messages. If you use voice coaching, the service may process audio recordings, transcripts and related coaching data at your request.
We also receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, language, referring page and access times. Payment details are processed by Stripe; we do not store complete card numbers.
3. How we use information
Depending on the context, our legal bases are contract, consent, legitimate interests and compliance with a legal obligation.
- to provide, personalise and improve Reworkers;
- to manage early-access requests, accounts and customer support;
- to secure the service, prevent abuse and troubleshoot errors;
- to process payments and fulfil subscriptions you request;
- to send service messages and, where permitted, product updates; and
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Sharing, cookies and providers
We use carefully selected providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery, customer support and payments. They process data on our instructions and under confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Without your consent, we only use technologies that are necessary to operate the website: your choice in the privacy banner is saved in your browser’s local storage. Website analytics and keeping the source of your visit in your browser are used only after you select “Accept all”. You can change your choice at any time with the “Website analytics” switch at the top of this page. Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy policy.
5. Website analytics
If you select “Accept all”, we use Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we run on our own server; analytics data is not passed to third parties. Umami does not use cookies. It records the pages you visit, the referring website, campaign parameters in the link you followed (such as utm_source or utm_campaign), browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and approximate location (country, region and city), as well as events such as a completed early-access request. Your IP address is not stored; it is used only to determine the approximate location and a pseudonymous visit identifier.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German TDDDG). We keep analytics data for 14 months. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future with the “Website analytics” switch at the top of this page.
6. Early-access requests and campaign sources
When you request early access, we also receive how you reached our website: the campaign parameters of the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), the domain of the referring website, the page and the language version. We store this information with a pseudonymised form of your email address (a keyed hash), not with the address itself, to understand which channels bring early-access requests. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in evaluating our marketing channels (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can object at any time.
If you do not confirm your request within 30 days, this information is deleted. If you unsubscribe or are removed from the early-access list, it is deleted within one day.
Without your consent, nothing is stored in your browser for this purpose: the information is read from the address of the page when you submit the form. If you select “Accept all”, the source of your visit is also kept in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab, so that it is not lost when you move between pages.
7. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as it is needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet legal, tax or accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your account or personal data.
Your information may be processed in other countries with appropriate safeguards. We apply organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data, receive a portable copy, object to certain processing and withdraw consent. Contact hello@reworkers.ai. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
9. Children and changes
Reworkers is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it. Parents and legal guardians can contact us at hello@reworkers.ai.
We may update this notice when our service or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above shows when the current version took effect.
